    Venue Spaces

    Music Room

    The Music Room was one of many in No. 11 that formed the private residence of four times Prime Minister in the mid 1800s. Its name is derived from the representation of musical instruments in the ornamental plasterwork. (Capacities: 50 dining | 80 reception | 60 theatre | 40 cabaret)

    Wolfson Room

    The Wolfson Room is the venues largest room. A stunning space with beautiful brass chandeliers and period detail which adds distinctive charm to any event. The adjoining Gallery space, included in the hire of the Wolfson Room, is a light and refreshing area for break out sessions from meetings or pre-event drinks (Capacities: 100 dining | 200 reception | 70 cabaret | 50 dinner/dance)

    Council Room

    The enormous bay windows of the Council Room overlook the garden square of {10-11} Carlton House Terrace to the front of Number 10, making this a grand, spacious room with lots of natural light. This room works wonderfully as the main event space when paired with the adjoining Music Room, or as a breakout space to the adjacent Lecture Room.     With book-lined walls filled with literature, dating back to 1902, from the most eminent of scholars through the decades, this inspiring space really will enable your creativity to flourish. The room has the added advantage of adjoining the Reading Room giving the spaces much more flexibility and capacity. (Capacities: 50 dining | 100 reception | 30 boardroom | 40 cabaret)

    Lecture Room

    The Lecture Room gives a touch of regal elegance. Its most unusual feature, and one of the venues biggest mysteries is an ornate yet unfinished Trompe l’oeil painted ceiling, commissioned by the Ridley family in the style of Eugene Delacroix - leader of the French Romantic school. (Capacities: 50 dining | 90 reception | 30 boardroom | 32 cabaret)

    Mall Room

    The Mall Room is an exceptional, bright, double-aspect room overlooking St James’s Park and the Mall to the rear of the building. Major pieces from the academy’s art collection hang along its walls, as do gold chandeliers from a majestic corniced ceiling. (Capacities: 60 dining | 80 reception | 30 boardroom | 40 cabaret)

    S T Lee Reading Room

    The S T Lee Reading Room is a stunning, generously proportioned space with an ornate ceiling, beautiful archways and artworks, and floor-to-ceiling bookcases that stretch along two walls. (Capacities: 60 dining | 90 reception | 48 cabaret )

    Burlington Room

    The Burlington Room is a spacious, sunny meeting room for up to 16 people. It can be hired on its own or as a more versatile space alongside the adjoining Cornwall room to create a suite. (Capacities: 16 dining | 30 reception | 16 boardroom)
