Kitchen Porter (Monday - Friday)
Fulltime - 40hrs per week
Monday to Friday
£27560 - £29120 per annum, depending on experience
Our Kitchen Porter is the core of our business. Your friendly approach and willingness to provide fantastic service at all times make you an integral part of our company. You will ensure the effective and efficient supply of food, goods, and equipment to the kitchen and peripheral areas. At the same time, you will comply with food safety and health and safety regulations at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving deliveries of food and other goods. Inspecting goods for quality and food safety.
- To ensure all operating, food, and health & safety standards are always followed.
- Assisted the logistics manager and back-of-house supervisor in ensuring smooth and efficient operation of all back-of-house catering functions.
- Set up and broke down events, function rooms, and cooking equipment such as BBQs.
- Moving heavy goods and equipment safely around the business.
- General cleaning and dishwashing tasks in support of the wider business.
- Must be hard-working and willing to learn.
- Excellent communication skills, internally and externally.
- Demonstrates a high level of organisation and time management.
- Supportive team player.
