General Manager
Searcys are looking for a General Manager for our esteemed events venue, Royal College of General Practitioners.
As a General Manager you will oversee the day to day running of the venue which benefits from a vast array of rooms available for conferencing, meetings, training, private dining, parties and weddings.
The Royal College of General Practitioners also has 41 luxurious on site boutique bedrooms which will be managed by the onsite Searcys team, making this a 7 day a week operation.
As a General Manager you will be required to mentor a large team, delivering excellence in service and standards, live the values of Searcys and ensure we execute events that inspire and delight our clients.

Job Type: Full Time
As a General Manager your key responsibilities will be:
- To provide an excellent food & beverage service and offer, always ensuring all operations are managed in the most effective way.
- Working closely with Sales team to grow revenue in line with annual budgets.
- To hire, train and retain the staff, offering a supportive and positive working environments for all the team.
- To manage and monitor P&L, with monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews with the Ops Team.
- To build a strong relationship with the onsite client.
- To measure and positively impact guest reviews on all platforms and become and venue of choice.
- To create an amazing team culture.
- Minimum 5 years experience in people management
- Excellent product knowledge (food/beverage)
- Previous experience in managing a large scale events venue
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Managing a P&L
- Has previous experience in budgeting / forecasting
- Takes an interest in food trends
