  • World Champagne Day: The Bubbly Show Returns

    23 October 2026

On this rainy Friday afternoon in October, we’re delighted to announce that tickets are now available for The Bubbly Show by Searcys 2027.

On 19–20 March, we’ll be welcoming Champagne lovers, English sparkling wine enthusiasts and some of the industry’s most celebrated producers back to the magnificent 10–11 Carlton House Terrace for two days dedicated to the bottles, people and stories that make the world of sparkling wine so special.

Following a record-breaking show this year, we can’t wait to bring everyone together again. There’ll be exceptional wines to discover, masterclasses to get stuck into, and some rather special dining experiences along the way.

The Bubbly Show has always been about more than what’s in the glass. Champagne has been part of the Searcys story for generations. It’s woven into our heritage, our venues and the occasions we help bring to life every single day. Whilst we’re incredibly proud of that connection, we’re just as passionate about the craftsmanship, creativity and hospitality that sit behind every remarkable experience.

With tickets now available, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to share a little more about why Champagne is such an important part of our brand, why we bring this show to life, and how that passion extends far beyond two days in March.

Tickets are now on sale for two days celebrating the people, craftsmanship and expertise behind the world of Champagne and English sparkling wine.

    10-11 Carlton House Terrace

A Remarkable Setting for a Remarkable Occasion

There are few London addresses better suited to a celebration of this kind than 10–11 Carlton House Terrace.

Designed by architect John Nash and built between 1827 and 1833, the Grade I listed terrace was conceived as an impressive architectural backdrop to St James’s Park and The Mall. Built on the site of Carlton House, the former residence of the Prince Regent, the buildings soon became among London’s most fashionable addresses. No. 11 later became the London home of former Prime Minister William Gladstone, who hosted gatherings that brought prominent figures together for conversation, music and the exchange of ideas.

It is a setting with sociability in its history, which makes it a fitting home for The Bubbly Show today. The character of the building is part of the experience. Its individual rooms, period features and elegant proportions give the show a sense of occasion while allowing the event to unfold across a series of distinct spaces.

Rather than one vast exhibition floor, guests can explore the show room by room, discovering producers, tasting different expressions of Champagne and English sparkling wine, and taking time to enjoy the conversations that make an event like this so rewarding. Alongside the main exhibition, a programme of masterclasses and dining experiences offers further opportunities to explore the craft behind the bottle.

It’s an environment designed not simply to showcase wine, but to encourage people to engage with it.

    Champagne and Searcys

Our relationship with Champagne is not a recent addition to the Searcys story. It sits within a heritage that stretches back to our founding in 1847, when John Searcy established his own catering business after building a reputation for his craftsmanship as a confectioner.

From those beginnings, Searcys grew through the art of hospitality: bringing people together over food, drink and shared experiences. Champagne became an important part of that story, and today it remains one of our most treasured assets.

We see it as both a connection to our past and an opportunity for the future. Our role is not simply to serve a bottle, but to understand what makes it special: the house behind it, the decisions made in its creation, the character of the vintage or blend, and the moment in which it is enjoyed.

That understanding shapes our Champagne offering across the business, from our own Searcys Champagne to the breadth of producers and styles we introduce to our guests.

It is also why The Bubbly Show matters. Bringing together leading Champagne houses and exciting English sparkling wine producers requires more than a venue and a guest list. It takes relationships, knowledge, curiosity and a genuine appreciation for the work behind every bottle.

Our ambition is to create a place where established enthusiasts can deepen their knowledge, newcomers can discover something unexpected, and producers can share their expertise directly with the people who enjoy their wines.

116 Pall Mall Champagne Bar by Searcys

From Iconic Champagne Bars to the Art of the Occasion

For many people, their first experience of Searcys might be a glass of Champagne at one of our bars. Each offers a different perspective on what Champagne can be.

At St Pancras Bar & Brasserie, our Champagne bar stretches through the magnificent architecture of St Pancras International, offering a front-row seat to the energy of one of London’s great railway stations. At Searcys Champagne Bar at Battersea Power Station, Champagne finds its home within the striking Art Deco surroundings of Turbine Hall A. And beneath the historic façade of 116 Pall Mall, our Champagne Bar offers a more intimate setting in which to discover a carefully selected range of bottles.

Three very different settings, connected by the same belief: Champagne deserves to be enjoyed, understood and shared in special places and venues.

But the Champagne stories don’t end at the Champagne bars…

Across the House of Searcys, we create experiences for people celebrating, connecting and coming together. We look after everything from intimate dinners and welcoming receptions to weddings, corporate gatherings and large-scale events in some of the UK’s most distinctive venues.

In these settings, Champagne becomes something more than a drink. It can be the first impression that welcomes a guest, the centrepiece of a reception, or the finishing touch to a carefully considered event. A Champagne tower, for example, is never just about the bottles. It is about anticipation, the gathering of guests, the first pour and the moment everyone turns to watch the wow-moment. It creates a focal point, invites people to participate and gives an occasion a sense of theatre.

These details matter because great events are built on how people feel, not simply on how a room looks. The right drink, served in the right way and at the right moment, can help shape an experience that stays with guests long after they leave.

As we look towards the Christmas season, we see this artistry come to life across the House of Searcys. Champagne receptions, statement towers, beautifully considered drinks service and festive gatherings will bring our venues to life throughout the season. Each event will be different, shaped around its guests and purpose, but all will share the same attention to detail.

Champagne may be one of our signatures, but the art of bringing people together is at the heart of everything we do.

Champagne Houses and English Sparkling Wine Producers

The Bubbly Show is where our passion for Champagne meets our enthusiasm for the wider sparkling wine world.

The 2027 line-up brings together established Champagne Maisons, independent producers and a growing collection of English sparkling wine names. It reflects the diversity of the industry, from the traditions and distinctive styles of Champagne to the ambition and individuality of England’s vineyards.

Among the confirmed Champagne houses are Pommery, Drappier, EPC, Laurent-Perrier, Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Taittinger, Alfred Gratien, Liberty and Morel.

The English sparkling wine line-up includes Roebuck Estates, Chapel Down, Balfour Winery, Candover Brook, Crush and Brisk, Silver Reign, Greyfriars, Hattingley and Évremond.

For those exploring alternatives beyond traditional Champagne, Bolle and Wild Idol will also be joining the show with non-alcoholic offerings.

It’s a line-up that encourages comparison and discovery. What distinguishes one house from another? How do production choices influence the character of a wine? What can a tasting reveal about the people and places behind it? These are the conversations we want the show to inspire.

Guests can explore the exhibitors through general admission, with unlimited tastings and access to the antipasti station, or build their visit around a selection of dining experiences and expert-led masterclasses.

Friday’s programme includes a Balfour lunch experience, a Pommery dinner and masterclasses exploring blind tasting and the art of dosage. On Saturday, guests can enjoy a Champagne lunch featuring the winning menu from the Searcys Chef Competition, a special Jane Austen Afternoon Tea inspired by the celebrated Pump Room in Bath, and masterclasses with Chapel Down and Dom Pérignon, alongside the return of Battle of Bubbles.

The programme is designed to offer more than a tasting list. It is an opportunity to spend time with the people behind the wines, develop your palate and discover new favourites in an exceptional setting.

Why We Bring The Bubbly Show to Life

For us, The Bubbly Show is an expression of what Searcys does best. It brings together our history, our relationships with producers, our hospitality expertise and our belief that the best experiences are those that give people something to talk about.

It also reflects how we see our future. We are proud of our Champagne heritage, but we are equally interested in what comes next: new producers, evolving tastes, the growing recognition of English sparkling wine and new ways for people to enjoy Champagne beyond traditional occasions.

The show gives us a platform to explore all of that in one place. It creates space for established expertise and fresh perspectives to sit alongside one another, and for people across the industry and beyond to share their passion.

And while March offers a wonderful moment to bring this community together, the spirit of the show continues throughout the year, across our Champagne bars, restaurants and event venues.

From a single glass shared between friends to a reception for hundreds, we believe the artistry lies in understanding the occasion and making every detail count.
