Dining at the Searcys Bubbly Show
2 April 2024On Friday 26th April and Saturday 27th April, Searcys is inviting guests to indulge their tastebuds and toast to the weekend in style at the Bubbly Show 2024, at {10-11} Carlton House Terrace.
Not only will the two-day event be a celebration of all things Champagne and English Sparkling Wine (with 25 exhibitors present including Hollywood star Idris Elba’s own luxury wine brand, Porte Noire), it will also pay tribute to other delights which tantalise tastebuds, from light-bites and traditional English Afternoon Teas, to extravagant three-course dinners, sure to leave guests feeling inspired.

Food in the Spotlight: Belle Epoque Dinner, paired with Maison Perrier-Jouët’s Prestige Cuvées
For a memorable and elevated culinary experience, opt for an enhanced Bubbly Show ticket which will offer access to all the Bubbly Show has to offer as well as an exclusive spot at the coveted Belle Epoque Dinner. For £175, guests will be able to enjoy all the delights of the Bubbly Show, before starting their evening with a canapés reception and three course dinner paired with Perrier-Jouët’s Prestige Cuvées.
Guests can expect a menu bubbling with culinary delights and inspired by Perrier-Jouët vintages. Starters include ‘Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut’ cured salmon and lightly pickled cucumber tart, main courses of fine Roast scallops with ‘Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs’ sauce, and wild spring mushroom panna-cotta with ‘Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs’ foam. Conclude dinner with desserts such as vanilla meringue and new season pink rhubarb.
Each course of the Belle Epoque Dinner will be expertly paired with Perrier-Jouët’s Prestige Cuvées. The selected Cuvées will include Belle Epoque Brut 2014, the original Belle Epoque vintage cuvée, first released in 1964, Belle Epoque Rosé 2013, described by Séverine Frerson, Maison Perrier-Jouët Cellar Master, as “subtle and delicate, yet also warm and embracing, as if it were wrapping you in silk”, and finally Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs 2012, described by Séverine Frerson as “the jewel of the collection – the quintessential expression of Chardonnay in the style of Maison Perrier-Jouët.”

Food in the Spotlight: Searcys Iconic Afternoon Tea
It wouldn’t be Searcys without an afternoon tea, and for an additional £45 guests can enjoy this bastion of British culinary traditions in the Regency setting of the Grade I listed Geogian Townhouse.
With a selection of freshly made finger sandwiches, such as Searcys signature smoked salmon, dill and lemon cream, homemade plain and golden raisin scones, a selection of cakes including West Sussex strawberry Eton mess, and a classic Victoria sponge with rose cream and Searcy’s champagne, the Afternoon tea is of course topped off with a glass of Searcys English Sparking Wine.
