VENUE OF THE YEAR: 30 EUSTON SQUARE
28 April 2026
As May edges closer and London begins to soften into longer evenings, there’s a familiar shift across our venues – our terraces are reopening, Champagne glasses are clinking a little later into the night, and calendars are filling up with everything from conferences to weddings, breakfasts to bridal showers.
At Searcys, that sense of momentum feels particularly meaningful this year. At the centre of it sits 30 Euston Square, a venue that hasn’t just come into its own, but has just won our Venue of the Year (with more than 40 members) at our recent Searcys People Awards.
Alongside that, Salem Retibi has also been recognised as General Manager of the Year, a moment that reflects not just leadership, but the strength and spirit of the team behind the scenes.

The People at 30ES
Spend any time at 30 Euston Square and one thing becomes clear very quickly: this is a team-led venue. The kind where the atmosphere isn’t manufactured, it’s built, day by day, by the people who run it.
Over the past year, there’s been a clear focus on creating an environment where people feel supported, listened to, and able to grow. Investment in training, development, and internal initiatives has shaped a culture that feels collaborative and forward-looking, something that’s reflected in every event delivered within the building.
From large-scale conferences to intimate celebrations, there’s a consistency to the experience here. Clients often talk about how seamless events feel, not just because of the space itself, but because of the people delivering them.
“Your organisation, responsiveness, and calm professionalism throughout the planning and delivery of the event were outstanding. You made the entire process feel seamless.” – Client feedback

A Year of Defining Moments
Rather than one single milestone, the past 12 months have been shaped by a series of moments.
From team initiatives and charity challenges to a diverse calendar of high-profile events, there’s been a balance between performance and culture, between delivering exceptional experiences and building something meaningful behind the scenes. From large-scale conferences like the UA Society and Planet Peach Sustainability Summit, to more intimate gatherings, the feedback is strikingly consistent: calm, seamless, and deeply professional.
That sense of shared effort has been key to the venue’s success, and it’s something that continues to drive the team forward.

More Than a Venue
Just moments from Euston Station, 30 Euston Square is one of those rare London spaces that feels both connected and self-contained. A Grade II* listed building that moves easily between heritage and modernity, from its grand State Rooms to its purpose-built conference facilities.
It’s a venue that adapts to the rhythm of the day: morning briefings turning into full-scale conferences, afternoon meetings giving way to evening receptions, and, increasingly, weddings that unfold across the building before guests settle into on-site bedrooms.

This summer, that versatility expands even further with the reopening of the newly refurbished rooftop terrace, a space designed to bring a fresh sense of occasion to the venue’s event offering. Set above the city, the terrace introduces an entirely new atmosphere for summer parties, private receptions, and post-conference networking, pairing skyline views with the relaxed energy that only an outdoor setting can bring. Thoughtfully designed to work alongside the adjoining State Rooms, it offers the flexibility of an open-air rooftop with the reassurance of an elegant all-weather option.
With new seasonal menus shaped by the best of spring and summer, elevated barbecue options, and a cocktail list designed for long evenings outdoors, the terrace adds another layer to the 30 Euston Square experience, giving clients the opportunity to move effortlessly from business to celebration, all within one distinctive London destination.
It’s a shift that feels perfectly timed, not simply a new offering but a natural continuation of the venue’s ongoing evolution.

Looking Ahead
As we head into the warmer months, with wedding season underway, terraces reopening, and a calendar quickly filling with events, there’s a sense that this is just the beginning of the next chapter for the venue.
At 30 Euston Square, success isn’t treated as a finish line. It’s a marker of what’s working, what matters, and where to go next.
