  • St Pancras Champagne Bar Reopens on 6th August

    4 August 2020

    St Pancras Champagne Bar

St Pancras Champagne Bar by Searcys celebrates the reopening on 6 August with Les Grandes Marques ‘democracy offer’

Europe’s longest Champagne Bar, St Pancras by Searcys, will be reopening its doors on 6 August (open Tuesday to Saturday, 12.00-19.00).

After months of lockdown, Searcys Champagne Bar is here to help you celebrate the electrifying moments of meeting friends and family, and the romanticism of travel against the stunning background of the Victorian station’s glass roof and Tracy Emin’s poignant artwork “I want my time with you”.

An airy Champagne Bar under the iconic arches is famed for its spacious individual leather booths (seating up to 6 guests), champagne buzzers, and lends itself ideally to providing a safe* and enjoyable experience.

Throughout August and September, leading expert in Champagne and sparkling wine Searcys will serve the first glass of Champagne from a selection of Les Grandes Marques, niche brands and top English sparkling wines, at £9.75 for the first serve, to allow all its guests to enjoy a great tasting experience. Two glasses of Champagne and snacks for £20 can be pre-booked online at https://stpancrasbysearcys.co.uk/

Bruno Pelletier, Searcys drinks ambassador stresses: “We were very keen to reopen our popular Champagne Bar this August. Our location on the Upper Concourse and the layout of the individual, socially distanced booths, champagne buzzers in each and an online booking tool with track-and-trace widget ensure that we are perfectly placed to provide a relaxed, enjoyable and safe experience. Our ‘Champagne democracy’ offer allows both champagne connoisseurs and novices to sample some of the best products in the industry.”

The much-loved 98-meter Champagne bar is famously the longest in Europe. Since its opening in 2007 has swiftly become a must-visit destination in London, where guests can enjoy the grandeur and panoramic views of the magnificent station. It is the perfect pit-stop before hopping on the Eurostar to Paris.

Enjoy any of our Champagne by the glass for £9.75

    Tasting Notes

    Searcys Selected Cuvée

Searcys own Selected Cuvée is elegant and complex Champagne. Straw yellow in colour, the serve denotes aromas of peach and plum, with notes of citrus.

    Drappier, Carte d’Or Brut, NV

A blend of 75% Pinot Noir, 15% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Meunier. With its very high proportion of Pinot Noir, it is a Champagne which opens with aromas of peach and stoned fruits and is ideal as an aperitif.

Lanson Père et Fils, Brut, NV

Aged for a minimum of 4 years, this is a rich and elegant Champagne, golden in colour and with a rich aroma of ripe fruits, honey and spices

    Perrier-Jouët, Grand Brut, NV

With 12 to 20% of reserve wines added, Grand Brut is dominated by the elegance and finesse of the Chardonnays (20%) from the best vineyards in the Côte des Blancs. The delicate structure is brought by the Pinot Noir (40%) primarily sourced from the Montagne de Reims and the Vallée de la Marne, but also from the best Crus in the Aube region such as Les Riceys. A dosage of 8 to 11 grams per litre is added according to the year, and the Grand Brut cuvée is aged in the cellars for at least three years

Searcys Selected Cuvée Rosé, Brut, NV

Searcys own Cuvée Rosé fruits dominated by strawberry and white flowers aromas, with dried apricot and almonds notes. A mix of red fruits flavours with strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant.
