  • St Pancras Champagne Bar by Searcys reopens for May

    8 March 2021

St Pancras International will ring out to the sounds of popping Champagne corks on 17th May with the re-opening of St Pancras Champagne Bar by Searcys. Situated under the arches of the station, Europe’s longest Champagne Bar is ready to celebrate the meeting of friends and family on its outdoor terrace, with a Searcys Bubble Champagne pairing menu and a Staycation Afternoon Tea, complete with limitless option.

Set to the backdrop of Tracey Emin’s poignant artwork “I want my time with you”, toast a return to normality with your bubbles of choice in a private leather booth, seating six and equipped with a ‘Press for Champagne’ buzzer. As well as an extensive range of Champagnes by the glass, bottle and magnum, there is also a new Champagne pairing menu. The Searcys Bubble Menu, from £45 per person, offers a tasting trio of Champagnes from a different producer each month, perfectly paired with delicious small plates created by Head Chef Colin Layfield – all you have to do is buzz!

Travelling may still be curtailed, but Searcys stylish Staycation Afternoon Tea, available daily from 3-5pm, is the perfect way to while away an afternoon. Served in a suitcase with a choice of tea and the option to upgrade to a glass of Veuve Clicquot, the afternoon tea includes a selection of crowd-pleasing savouries, freshly baked scones served with strawberry preserve and clotted cream, along with decadent sweet treats including a Passion fruit éclair, Yuzu chocolate tart and Pistachio cherry slice. The Staycation tea starts from £39, with a limitless pour of Veuve Clicquot for £85.

St Pancras Champagne Bar by Searcys will reopen its doors from 17th May, opening seven days a week from 10am-9pm (12pm-4.30pm on Sundays). As well as a full Champagne Bar drinks menu, the Searcys Brasserie menu will be available from 12pm, serving dishes such as John Ross Jr smoked salmon with garnish; and Creedy carver chicken pie with tarragon sauce. Look out for the new Sunday Brunch menu as well.

Bookings are now available online at www.stpancrasbysearcys.co.uk for parties of up to six people, adhering to Government guidelines and safety measures.
