• St Pancras Brasserie and Champagne Bar by Searcys launches Staycation Afternoon tea

    This October, St Pancras Brasserie and Champagne Bar by Searcys is getting set to launch their new Afternoon Tea and Bubble menu, following on their reopening. Embracing their British heritage, St Pancras Brasserie by Searcys is introducing a new Staycation Afternoon Tea, a playful twist on their acclaimed Art of Travel tea, available alongside a new market menu.  While at Europe’s longest Champagne Bar Searcys will be inviting guests to enjoy the Searcys Bubble, offering a Champagne pairing menu in a private booth for up to groups of six – equipped with its own drinks buzzer.



    Offering a twist on the British Afternoon Tea, St Pancras by Searcys will be serving a new Staycation Afternoon Tea, served in stylish suitcase and with a choice of tea or glass of Veuve Clicquot. The tea will include a selection of crowd-pleasing finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones served with strawberry preserve and cream, along with decadent sweet treats, including Opera gâteau, Victoria sponge and Passion fruit meringue pie. There will also be some dog treats on offer for furry friends. The Staycation tea will start from £35, with optional limitless pour of Veuve Clicquot for £75. The Staycation Afternoon tea will run Monday to Saturday, 3pm-5pm and 3pm until 4.30pm on Sunday.


    For those looking to indulge, the new Market Menu will be on offer for guests to dine in the Brasserie, with crowd-pleasing dishes including Cured Looe Bay mackerel with pickled fennel, Gressingham duck confit with butter beans, and a Yorkshire rhubarb fool, available from £19.50/£25 for 2/3 courses.



    The iconic Champagne Bar will also be launching a new Champagne pairing, Searcys Bubble (£40 per person), for diners to sip away and enjoy. Set in one of the private booths along the bar, each with a Press for Champagne button, Searcys has created a Champagne package, with a monthly tasting trio, all paired with small plates created by Head Chef Colin Layfield. The trio will include the iconic Veuve Clicquot, and will be served with a selection of paired snacks:

    • Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label with artisan Suffolk smoked salmon, horseradish cream, soda bread
    • Veuve Clicquot Rosé, paired with mini burger, bacon, aged cheddar
    • Veuve Clicquot 2012 Vintage Blanc with a lemon macaroon.

    The new Searcys Bubble will be available at the Champagne Bar from 12pm– 7pm Monday to Saturday and 12pm until 4.30pm on Sunday.

    St Pancras Brasserie and Champagne Bar by Searcys is now open seven days a week for the first time since the lockdown, with bookings available for parties up to six people, adhering to government guidelines and safety measures.
