To celebrate the launch of the the National Portrait Gallery’s latest exhibition, Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’S Queens, we’re delighted to present six new ways to toast their legacy at Searcys venue, The Portrait Restaurant.
Six twists on a Classic Spritz, each inspired by the unique history of each Queen, will be available on the top floor of the National Portrait Gallery, at The Portrait Restaurant by Richard Corrigan from 20th June. From Anne of Cleves hardy German heritage to Catherine Parr’s everlasting resilience, each cocktail takes you on a journey through their chequered pasts.
To pair with your drink, receive an exclusive coaster with corresponding artwork from the exhibition. The perfect way to continue your experience – whether post-exhibit, or pre-theatre!
The first significant exhibition dedicated to the women who married the notorious Tudor king, Six Lives, will explore the portrayal of Katherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves, Katherine Howard, and Katherine Parr throughout history and popular culture over the centuries since their lifetimes.
