From champagne masterclasses, orchestral afternoon teas and dining experiences in historic settings, to talks, comedy nights and coffee workshops, Searcys have all bases covered with an exciting programme of events – make your 2023 special with Searcys.

    Fizz-tastic Champagne Masterclasses – Searcys at The Gherkin, St Pancras by Searcys and 116 Pall Mall

    Pop the corks and learn the art of champagne with a guided tasting and paired dinner at Searcys’ landmark locations, the Gherkin and 116 Pall Mall. Led by one of Searcys fizz experts, become a bubble connoisseur with an interactive masterclass, tutored taste-testing of three vintages, all perfectly matched with the best of British seasonal dishes. With classes throughout the year, no bottle will be the same with new theme for every session, from fizz seen on the big screen to champagnes fit for a king.

    Serving afternoon tea for over 175 years, Searcys knows a thing or two about this quintessentially British pastime. With themed variations across its historic venues, indulge in freshly baked treats and scones with finger sandwiches and some seasonal specials to surprise and delight, all paired with Champagne or English Sparkling wine.

    At 116 Pall Mall, guests can learn the etiquette of afternoon tea with a tea and talk hosted by Gillian Walnes Perry MBE (25 February and 29 March 2023) or look to The Pump Room in Bath with its Roman Bath Experience, starting with tea and cake to the sounds of a live pianist, followed by a visit to the Roman Baths Museum to explore one of the world’s oldest religious spas.

    Tickle your funny bones with The Comedy Show in the Duke café at 116 Pall Mall on Thursday 23rd February. Kicking off from 7pm, grab your seat to watch as some of London’s up and coming comedians take to the stage, with a line-up including Russell Hicks (Off the Grid podcast), Fumbi Omotayo, Russell Arathoon and Live at the Apollo’s Ria Lina. With a welcome drink included in the ticket price and a full bar snack menu available throughout the evening, look no further than 116 Pall Mall to chase away the winter blues this February, with future dates to be announced.

    Partnering with the London Contemporary Orchestra, be immersed in a musical dining experience in the heart of theatreland. Taking place at the Grade II listed 116 Pall Mall, enjoy a Searcys afternoon tea or a glass of fizz in the underground Champagne Bar, followed by an exclusive concert by London’s finest orchestra for a fun and jubilant evening. Running throughout the year, upcoming concerts include a St Patrick’s Day bash and a Midsummer soirée.

    Join Searcys’ coffee partner, Extract Coffee Roasters, for a Home Barista Workshop at its Bermondsey roastery. Caffeine addicts will follow the journey from bean to cup and learn how the roasting process can impact the flavour of their favourite brew. Master the art of pulling shots of espresso, perfect your pour with a latte-art tutorial and shake up an espresso martini for a boozy hit. Plus, there will be a complimentary glass of Searcys Champagne on arrival and an Extract goodie bag to take home, with proceeds from every ticket going to Searcys’ charity partners, the Beyond Food Foundation and Hotel School.
