9 February 2025We are delighted to announce that Searcys has been awarded a new five-year contract to manage the iconic Pump Room Restaurant, following a competitive tender process led by Bath & North East Somerset Council. This exciting news cements Searcys’ longstanding relationship with this historic venue, ensuring the continuation of exceptional dining experiences and event catering for years to come.
A Timeless Icon
Since opening its doors in 1795, the Pump Room Restaurant has served as a vibrant social hub in the heart of Bath. Renowned for its elegant surroundings and rich history, the venue famously hosted Jane Austen and continues to charm guests with its timeless appeal. Today, visitors can enjoy brunch, afternoon tea, or evening dining, all accompanied by live performances from the Pump Room Trio or our resident pianist.
Delivering Excellence
In addition to managing the restaurant, Searcys will provide catering services for weddings and private events at both The Roman Baths and the Pump Room. Working closely with the council’s Venue Hire team, Searcys remains committed to delivering the highest standards of service and creating unforgettable experiences for every occasion.
A Heritage of Quality
Founded in 1847, Searcys is celebrated for its dedication to quality and service, catering at some of the UK’s most prestigious locations. The Pump Room holds a special place in Searcys’ portfolio as its only operation outside London, further highlighting the significance of this partnership.
Community Collaboration
