Searcys New Champagne Bar: Welcome to a new era of the St Pancras Champagne Bar

One-way ticket to champagne, this way! You’re invited to enjoy France’s finest export without the international travel as Europe’s longest champagne bar – St Pancras Champagne Bar by Searcys – reopens following a dazzling refurbishment.

Over the summer, our landmark bar on St Pancras’ mezzanine closed for a full renovation and the new look space is just the ticket for whiling away an hour or two while you wait for your train. Set against the stunning backdrop of the station’s Victorian Gothic canopy, the updated scheme follows the bar’s signature palette of deep blue and tan, with copper and brass detailing and signature geometric tiling, while fluted lighting evokes the feel of a traditional train carriage.

Take a trip to the sea at the destination marble bar to discover the new Searcys Oyster bar, offering a choice of Rock and Native oysters with a mignonette sauce to pair perfectly with a glass of fizz. Celebrating the best of seasonal produce, other seafood delights on offer include Scottish salmon tartare and Hand-dived Orkney scallop ceviche, plus the Searcys Shellfish platter with Exmoor and Sturia caviar and native lobster.

Guests can also opt for a quintessentially British ‘travel’ Afternoon Tea, served in a bespoke suitcase stand, or enjoy the seasonal à la carte menu, which features signature dishes from the brasserie, whilst a seasonal Market menu is available on weekdays.

Champagne aficionados can indulge in our extensive collection of champagne bottles and magnums. Home to over 50 bottles, including vintages and monthly tasting specials, pull up a plush bar stool and watch the world go by while you sip on the good stuff. For a little more privacy – perhaps for a group catch up, a romantic flute à deux or if you’ve got emails to catch up on – make for one of the bar’s new cosy booths, which offer secluded corners and snugs to escape the hustle and bustle. Not to fret, the bar’s signature ‘Press for Champagne’ buzzers – the first of their kind – remain (phew!).

Open Monday to Saturday from 12pm – 7pm (last reservation 6.45pm), the new St Pancras Champagne Bar by Searcys is open for bookings and walk-ins, with complimentary high-speed WiFi for those looking to work from the bar.
