    With Afternoon Tea Week around the corner (8th-14th August), we invite you to  join us in celebrating this very British pastime.

    In our 175 years of Searcys history,  beautiful afternoon teas have been at the forefront of our business having served our signature Searcys Afternoon Tea in some of the UK’s most unique and historic settings.

    Get rosy at The Gherkin:

    Jubilee Afternoon Tea Gherkin

    Putting the ‘high’ in high tea with its stunning 360-degree views across the City of London, enjoy a rosé afternoon tea at the Gherkin. Tuck into a selection of mini savouries, including Smoked salmon and caviar and a Coronation chicken rillette, served alongside sweet treats including homemade scones and picture-perfect pastries. Best paired with a selection of teas or a glass of Whispering Angel Rosé for the summer.

    Monday- Saturday 12pm-3pm. Priced from £55

    Searcys at The Gherkin

    The art of travel at St Pancras Brasserie: 

    Let us ‘pack’ your bag for you with its afternoon tea in a suitcase! Available at the St Pancras Brasserie, the ‘Art of Travel’ Afternoon Tea includes Chapel & Swan smoked salmon to start, followed by a selection of savouries and freshly baked scones served with strawberry preserve and clotted cream, along with decadent cakes and pastries including a Battenberg slice, an Opéra gâteau and a citrus Lemon tart. On the doorstep to Europe and offering an extensive list of Champagnes, pair with a limitless pour of fizz in the art-deco brasserie and then head off on your own travel adventure.

    Monday-Saturday 3pm-5pm. Priced from £55.

    St Pancras Brasserie by Searcys 

    The Confectioner’s Afternoon Tea at 116 Pall Mall:

    Head to one of London’s most prestigious addresses, 116 Pall Mall, for the Confectioner’s afternoon tea, inspired by the founder of Searcys, John Searcy. Set under the ornate ceilings, settle down for a selection of savouries including a Smoked salmon rillette with horseradish and pickled fennel, alongside freshly baked scones and pastries of Caramel choux, Blackberry macaron and signature Victoria cake. For little ones, there is also a Children’s Tea with a Galia melon, orange and pomegranate salad, rolls, scones, and special sweet treats.  And to learn more about the history of afternoon tea and the venue’s architecture and art, there will also be a pocket guide included in the price.

    A touch of literature at The Pump Room, Bath

    Pump Room Afternoon Tea

    Spend the afternoon at The Pump Room, an iconic Georgian building that inspired the likes of Jane Austin and Mary Shelley, for its Moët Chandon Champagne afternoon tea, available throughout the week. Tuck into savouries such as Minted pea, smoked bacon and crème fraiche tart and a Coronation chicken brioche with mango and coriander chutney; alongside homemade buttermilk scones and a selection of pastries. We’ll raise a glass of Champagne to that!

    Monday-Sunday 12pm-close. Priced from £33.95.  

    The Pump Room Restaurant at the Roman Baths, Bath

    Dine like royalty at Blenheim Palace:

    Treat yourself like royalty at The Orangery at Blenheim Palace for an afternoon tea in regal surrounds. Served in the restaurant and on the garden terrace, enjoy a selection of traditional finger sandwiches and freshly baked scones, followed by The Orangery’s collection of baked goods. Expect Orange and cranberry eclairs, a Battenberg slice and Searcys own signature Victoria, all paired with JING tea or a glass of fizz.
