As the world of parties and events opens back up across the UK this summer, things are looking brighter and better than ever for celebrations across Searcys’ iconic British venues. After a year of missing celebrations with friends and colleagues, nothing can ever substitute those face-to-face meet-ups. Following the Government’s guidelines for steps out of lockdown, our summer parties will be all about warm-hearted welcomes, catching up with old friends and savouring being together in person.

After a year of restrictions hitting the events world, the personal touch which is so central to Searcys has never been more important.

ST PANCRAS BRASSERIE AND CHAMPAGNE BAR

A true hidden gem for events, St Pancras Brasserie and Champagne Bar is located above the hustle and bustle of the historic train station. It can be transformed into a spectacular event space for exclusive or group hire for any occasion. For summer parties this year, our vast terrace couldn’t be better suited. The Champagne Bar is the longest in Europe and can host up to 400 guests standing up. The Grand Terrace is directly under the iconic Victorian arches of the station, overlooking Tracey Emin’s famous neon installation ‘I want my time with you.’

With old station clocks and vintage private booths, St Pancras Brasserie by Searcys whisks guests back to the golden age of travel while the station buzzes beneath. Our team can set up Champagne fountains and serve colourful cocktails, shared platters and nibbles for summer parties in the airy venue. Searcys Champagne Bar and stunning Art-Deco style Brasserie are both available for standing receptions – we can host up to 400 guests in the Champagne Bar, and 250 in the Brasserie.

SEARCYS AT THE GHERKIN

There are few spots on the London dining scene as striking as our restaurant and bar on the top floors of the Gherkin. Feel the buzz and energy of the city below reflected in the striking helix-shaped glass ceiling. From corporate and special anniversary parties to weddings and conferences – Helix restaurant, located on levels 39 and 40, can be transformed to fit any occasion.

On the very top two floors, the sky hight Helix is London’s only space with 360° views of the city. The space can fit 260 people standing, making it the perfect spot for a summer party as the sun sets over London. Exclusive hire of the two floors is available, with an open bar and various drinks packages available depending on your needs, accommodating 260 guests for a standing reception or 140 for dinner.

The five private dining rooms on level 38 have unparalleled views over the city of London. The Gherkin’s team of chefs use the best seasonal ingredients to create canapes and private dinners for up to 50 guests in each room, standing or for a sit-down dinner.

30 EUSTON SQUARE

In a stunning central London location, 30 Euston Square’s Grade II-listed venue and inspiring Rooftop Terrace ticks all the boxes for hosting summer celebrations. Choose from a rooftop reception for 230, including a live chef BBQ, and enjoy freshly prepared food and creative cocktails beneath the London sunshine. We’ll arrange cocktails on arrival and various unlimited drinks packages, as well as jumbo games, entertainment and a photobooth thrown in. Gin lovers can even upgrade to our Gin Bar experience, tasting British and international artisanal gins from small-scale producers.

The partially covered Rooftop Terrace is perfect for overcoming typical British weather, too: the smooth transition inside to out ensures your party never has to stop come rain or shine. Alternatively, book our charming Heritage Rooms for a more intimate VIP celebration. If you’re hosting a party here, stay the night in one of our boutique bedrooms and enjoy a delicious continental breakfast, as well as the use of the fully equipped gym and business lounge.

VINTNERS’ HALL

The spiritual home of the international wine trade, Vintners’ Hall provides a wonderful historic venue for a special event in the heart of London. Conferences, seminars, wine tastings, exhibitions, weddings, and receptions can all be arranged and tailored to suit your every need, and the venue is set to host parties and events this summer.

Vintners’ Hall is steeped in history, with records dating back to a grand banquet held for the Kings of England, Scotland, France, Denmark and Cyprus there in 1363. It is one of the Twelve Great Livery Companies of the City of London, with deep historical roots in the import, regulation and sale of wine. The Court Room is the oldest continuously used room in the City of London. The venue is still as stunning in the 21st century, with a rooftop garden overlooking St Paul’s Cathedral, the river Thames and the Cheese Grater skyscraper.

THE HAC

Another building steeped in history and located in the heart of the City, The HAC – Honourable Artillery Company – boasts two incredible outdoor spaces where guests can sip summer cocktails in the sunshine. Our summer terrace is a spectacular party venue, with views over the lush green lawns of the 5-acre Artillery Garden, and has a unique city skyline backdrop.

The space can host up to 690 people for drinks receptions when hired in conjunction with the Prince Consort Rooms, a contemporary event space separated from the terrace by a pretty courtyard. DJ booths, photo booths, garden games and gin or sparkling wine packages can all be accommodated.

THE BARBICAN 

Inside what is surely one of London’s most divisive modern pieces of architecture, The Barbican conservatory terrace is a tropical oasis within the iconic brutalist structure. Kitted out as an indoor rainforest, summer parties and private events for up to 200 guests can take place surrounded by thousands of rare and exotic plants.

The perfect spot for a garden soiree with a twist, Searcys have devised a menu to suit the surroundings, taking inspiration from plants and flowers grown within. For larger events, the conservatory terrace can be combined with the garden room to host 650 for drinks receptions.

BLENHEIM PALACE

The birthplace of Winston Churchill and a masterpiece of Baroque architecture, Blenheim Palace is now home to one of the most important art collections in Europe. This astounding landmark near Oxford is an awe-inspiring venue for events, set in more than 2,000 acres of beautiful parkland and gardens.

The Palace is surrounded by over 90 acres of formal gardens, including the Water Terraces, the Rose Garden and the Italian Garden. The South Lawn of the gardens can also be used to accommodate marquees for up to 2,000 guests. Al-fresco dining has also been set up, with covered and heated terraces making the ideal spot for brunch, lunch and dinner. Guests can also opt to dine in specially created marquee pods overlooking the Italian Garden for more intimate gatherings. Blenheim Palace have also launched a range of picnic and summer BBQ packages.
