This week on Searcys Insider – Solving a murder mystery case at 30 Euston Square…

No day is the same at one of our leading meeting and events venue, 30 Euston Square. Taking a new approach to a traditional venue showcase, the award-winning team hosted an exclusive murder mystery night, ‘Betrayal in the Boardroom’, and our Insider donned their detective gear to investigate the action.

Hosted with the marvellous Moonstone Murders, there was foul play afoot as our insider took part in the #30ESMystery for a journey across all five floors, joining fellow detectives to solve the mystery. Attendees included a selection of key event organisers and agencies, including AOK and Seven events, along with trade publications PA Life and M&IT, inspecting every corner to solve a murder mystery case, from the spacious Auditorium and Heritage Rooms to the beautiful boutique bedrooms.

Combing the scenes for clues, detectives interviewed the four suspects situated in different event spaces across the venue. This included questioning one suspect using 30 Euston’s Square’s hybrid meeting technology, streaming in real time onto the auditorium screen using the state-of-the-art HDR 4k laser projector.

Throughout the journey, glasses were kept topped up with a selection of summer cocktails and Searcys Champagne, while tasting innovative and delicious canapés by Executive Chef Michelle Trusselle and team.

Finally, the case was closed upstairs in the venue’s beautiful penthouse with adjoining Rooftop Terrace, where guests solved the mystery while enjoying treats from an impressive dessert table. With the guilty verdict reached, the evening concluded with prizes for the top detective and a prize draw to win a giant bottle of champagne was announced, while attendees were encouraged to share their experience across socials.
