Osteria at The Barbican by Searcys reopens Tuesday, 20 July
26 July 2021A modern Italian restaurant in London by Searcys, Osteria showcases regularly changing menus inspired by regional Italian cuisine. The restaurant will reopen on 20 July, serving pre-theatre dinners from 4.30pm-7pm, Tuesday to Saturday. It will also reopen for lunch from 12-2.30pm on select dates when the theatre has matinee performances, starting from 24 July.
Osteria is located within the iconic Barbican Centre, one of the UK’s top cultural institutions and most controversial pieces of Brutalist architecture. With large glass windows, the restaurant offers diners fascinating views of the Barbican’s leafy walkways, lakeside and fountains.
Osteria specialises in bold, regional Italian food with a focus on seasonal, high-quality produce. The cocktail list features Italian classics including Negronis and Bellinis, as well as an exciting array of Italian sparkling wines in our new Negroni Bar. On the face of it, the Negroni is equal parts gin, vermouth and bitters, but beneath the bright red surface lies a whole world of delights to explore and enjoy.
The curated wine list celebrates Italy’s classics from Franciacorta, Chianti and Valpolicella as well as fresh young wines from Puglia and Sicily.
In the heart of the City of London, Osteria offers a set menu, which has been specially created to offer a wide choice and ensure prompt service, so you can enjoy a relaxing pre-performance meal.
