Start celebrations early at Europe’s longest Champagne bar for an evening of music, seafood and, of course, fizz! Dressed to the nines after its extensive refurb, packages start from £75 per person, including a Minuty Wagon with half a Colchester lobster and a half bottle of Minuty Prestige, along with three bubbly packages, featuring champagne and a seafood platter laden with Colchester rock oysters, Mediterranean prawns, Shetland mussels, dressed Portland crab and hand-dived Orkney scallop ceviche as standard.

The Drappier Coach (£150 per person) comes with a bottle of Drappier Carte d’Or Champagne to share whilst an upgrade to The Ruinart Carriage brings a bottle of Ruinart Blanc de Blanc and the addition of a Colchester lobster. For an ultra-premium, first-class experience in your own private booth, opt for The Clicquot Express featuring 30g of Sturia Aquitaine caviar and a bottle of Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame Brut Vintage as well as the seafood platter. Enjoy live jazz playing throughout the evening underneath the iconic Victorian arches and then head off post-fizz to catch the London fireworks.

For the ultimate New Year’s Eve experience, head to the top of London’s iconic skyscraper. During the day, Searcys at the Gherkin will host a NYE afternoon tea, complete with a glass of fizz, while in the evening, guests can enjoy their own sky-high private dining room. Available for groups of 10 to 18 guests, be welcomed with a glass of Dom Pérignon Champagne, followed by a delicious four-course dinner with Rock Angel Rosé by Whispering Angel, before heading up to your own area in The Iris bar on level 40, open until 1am.

A NEW YEAR’S EVE BALL AT THE PUMP ROOM IN BATH

Don those glam-rags and raise a glass to 2023 with a boogie at The Pump Room in Bath. Right in the heart of the historic city, the evening will start with a magical drinks reception in the torch-lit Roman Baths, followed by an indulgent four-course dinner with wine. Expect seasonal delights including Hot smoked salmon mousse and caviar aioli with sourdough croute, Roast fillet of beef with fondant potato and ratatouille, plus a dessert trio of brulée tart with toasted marshmallows, a chocolate torte and warm apple crumble shot.
