Senior Weddings & Private Events Executive
Searcys are looking for a Senior Weddings & Private Events Executive to join the team at 116 Pall Mall.
As a Senior Weddings & Private Events Executive you will, generate sales and maximise weddings and private events for the venue. Oversee the entire wedding sales and planning process, from initial enquiries, to event coordination, ensuring a high-quality and memorable experience for clients.
116 Pall Mall is a stunning Georgian venue dating back to 1820 in the heart of London. Originally de-signed by John Nash, the architect behind Marble Arch and Brighton Pavilion. This venue benefits from traditional meeting rooms to glamourous chandelier filled ballrooms.

Job Type: Full Time
Salary: £36,000 to £38,000
- Deliver sales into the venue to achieve the monthly and annual wedding and private events sales target, increasing YOY revenue for the Weddings business at 116, whilst also growing the private events sector for Birthdays, Anniversaries etc.
- Support on corporate enquiries where required (predominant focus is Weddings and private events)
- Receive incoming enquiries in accordance with the Sales Department standards and procedures and to convert them into confirmed business.
- Produce regular reports to the Head of Sales and GM on the pick-up of Weddings business, as well as potential opportunities
- To prepare proposals for new enquiries, ensuring venue standards are adhered to and contain best fit/feature expectations for client and maximising yield and revenue.
- Conduct show rounds and client visits to a high standard.
- Ensure venue product knowledge and seasonal menus are communicated to clients
- Attend menu tastings and actively upsell to clients to increase average spends and revenue opportunities.
- Create and complete function sheets – detailing all event requirements from start to finish and attend weddings, working in conjunction with the operations team.
- Ensure in house accounting policies are adhered to and checked. Ensuring billing invoices are completed within agreed timeframes and debt is chased.
- All sales procedures and administration correspondence duties are up to date and completed in a timely fashion as per agreed KPI’s. (Proposals, Contracts, Follow-ups and Deposit schedule/payments).
- Maintain good working relationship with the venue and other Searcys sites.
- To identify and support new leads for future business opportunities.
- Proven experience in a Wedding Sales and plannng role, or similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Exceptional organisational, multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of wedding planning, industry trends, and local vendors within London
- Flexibility to work weekends (with time in lieu)
