Searcys has opened an extraordinary new venue within one of London’s most iconic and historic landmarks, and we are now seeking a talented Chef de Partie to join the team at our exclusive Private Members’ Club.
This is a rare chance to work in a prestigious setting within the National Gallery, based in the beautifully refurbished Sainsbury Wing. As Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dishes that create unforgettable experiences for our members, while upholding the renowned standards of the Searcys brand.
Working closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef, you will be integral to the day-to-day running of the kitchen, while also mentoring and developing junior members of the brigade. This role offers the perfect balance of creativity, leadership, and growth in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.

Salary: £17.25 Per hour inclusive of Tronc
20 hours on contract- full time hours available
Working 5 days over 7
Gallery opening hours are 11:30 AM to 5:45 PM, with extended hours on Fridays from 11:30 AM to 10:15 PM, and on Saturdays from 11:30 AM to 8:15 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- To prepare food to a high standard in any area required by the senior chefs
- To assist in any extra functions.
- To provide to a consistently high standard for functions and different dining areas.
- To manage the Client Dining, staff restaurant, hospitality and conference food offers when requested by senior chefs
- To assist in the training of junior staff
- To ensure smooth running of daily operations
- Hygiene and personal hygiene checks
- Staff food standards
- Waste control
- To ensure all Health, Hygiene and Safety requirements are being adhered to as described in the Searcy Health & Safety Policy
- To comply with all legal requirements with particular reference to (but not exclusively) fire regulations, security, licence requirements and any Local Authority or Client stipulations.
- Any other reasonable request of Senior Management
Previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality or a private members club
Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve issues effectively
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
