Events Coordinator – Bath


Searcys are honoured to work with arguably one of the most beautiful venues within the UK at the Roman Baths. In addition to the Pump Room and Roman Baths Kitchen restaurants, we also cater for private events and celebrations at the Assembly Rooms.

1. The role:

Our catering and service standards from our team are never compromised, whether these be for small or large events. The types of events we hold can be anything from; drink receptions, dinners, concerts and weddings.

Reporting directly to the Sales and Marketing Manager, we are looking to recruit an Events Co-ordinator to support the venue and catering teams. Success in this role will be achieved through being able to develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients; therefore strong communication and organisiation skills are essential.

As part of your role you will be responsible for coordinating events up to the day of arrival which will include your involvement in; hosting menu and wine tastings, conducting show rounds of the venue, producing clear and concise function sheets, and being efficient and supportive to our customers.

This is a key role for our business, therefore previous experience of working within an events role is essential. In addition to experience, passion and dedication is as important. You will also be a great communicator, who is highly organised and somebody who never compromises on standards.

Working in an events role, no two days are ever the same. Therefore, somebody who thrives at working under pressure; and is able to manage their time effectively would be great for our team!
