Bar & Back of House Support
We are looking for a Bar & Back of House Support to join the team at Bath The Pump Room.
This role will be a front of house position, supporting with the preparation of hot and cold drinks, keeping coffee stations clean and clear and supporting the front of house team with any ad hoc duties to ensure service is smooth for our guests and to be the second in charge after the Bar Supervisor.
The Pump Room has been the social heart of Bath for more than two centuries, and boasts amongst its previous patrons Jane Austen and Charles Dickens.

The role is to support the dispense Supervisor and cover his shifts when he is away. It also includes but not limited to front and back of house duties, which can include the running of food and drink.
Job Type: Full Time 35hr contract
Hourly Rate: £12.21ph plus TRONC
This would be a 5 out of 7 day, Monday to Sunday role based on 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- To ensure all working areas are clean and tidy
- Provide a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers.
- To be flexible to work in all areas of front of house
- To support the front of house team with any tasks they require
- To ensure all areas are stocked for service eg coffee, milk and other refreshments
- To learn how to make all hot and cold drinks
- To receive, count, inspect and store goods and/or equipment and dispensing or disposing them to/from departments as and when required.
- Report immediately any incidents or accidents, fire, theft, loss, damage, unfit food, or other irregularities and take such action as may be appropriate
- Report any broken equipment to the Managers on shift
Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
