Senior Sales & Business Development Executive
Searcys are looking for a Senior Sales & Business Development Executive to join the team at one of their City based venues, The HAC.
As a Senior Sales & Business Development Executive you will be managing the sales and event bookings for the venue, working on reactive and proactive sales enquires and planning a wide variety events including intimate gatherings and weddings, allowing you to show exquisite detail, service excellence and showstopping food.
The HAC is quite unlike any other City venue; a magnificent Grade II listed building set in a five-acre garden hidden away in a quiet location just a couple of minutes walk from Old Street.

Job Type: Full Time
Salary: £35,000 Per Annum + 20% discretionary bonus based on performance
As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and overseeing the planning and execution of high-profile events. This role is perfect for a sales-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in event sales and planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and convert sales enquiries and opportunities, proactively generating new business through research, networking, trade shows, and outbound sales activity.
Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets through effective conversion, upselling, tailored proposals, and strong pipeline management.
Build and maintain strong client relationships from initial enquiry through event delivery and post-event follow-up, ensuring repeat business and high customer satisfaction.
Conduct venue showrounds, presentations, tastings, and client meetings, while collaborating closely with operations and catering teams to guarantee seamless event execution.
Prepare, negotiate, and administer contracts, proposals, event sheets, billing, CRM data, and all sales-related documentation in line with company standards and KPIs.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments, supporting the Head of Sales with strategic planning and identifying new market segments and opportunities.
• Minimum of 2-years’ experience in event sales within a high-end venue, hotel, or catering company.
• Degree in business, event management or related field
• Hunger for sales with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• A passion for delivering exceptional standards and client experiences
