Searcys is looking for Conference Supervisor to join the team at Allen & Overy Shearman LLP. Our Conference Supervisor will be based on Allen & Overy Shearman LLP, a global law firm. We're looking for a Conference Supervisor who will play a role in our food, beverage in conference and event operations. Conference Supervisor
Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week
Salary: £35,200 pa
Conference Supervisor responsibilities:
The main purpose of the Conference Supervisor is to oversee the smooth functioning of conference and training room areas in the department and support the team and management. The responsibilities include managing the presentations for conferences and training room areas at Allen & Overy Shearman, ensuring high-quality service while staying within budget and adhering to all policy requirements.
Summary key areas:
- Assisting the Conference Manager and Assistant Conference Manager to ensure smooth and efficient catering operations.
- To ensure smooth and efficient catering operations, you will cover all aspects of the department during holidays and sickness in all areas.
- To ensure an efficient and high standard of service to all clients in all areas.
- Ensure all operating standards are followed by all staff and reviewed when necessary.
- Developing strong working relationships and communication channels with key Allen & Overy Shearman departments, including Front of house, facilities team leaders and managers, and business development and business services department head.
- Condeco (booking system) updated throughout the day and running required reports.
- To ensure that all areas have appropriate and complete work worksheets for functions/ meetings. Updating each area with relevant changes throughout the day.
- Any other reasonable by management.
