JANUARY

January set the tone in the best possible way with our showcase at the London Transport Museum – a bold, creative celebration that truly brought the space to life. A playful traffic light theme ran throughout the experience, from vibrant canapés to carefully crafted cocktails, culminating in a dinner inspired by a journey across the Underground.

Beyond the creativity, it was a fantastic opportunity to connect with so many of our valued agent partners, something we never take for granted!

We’re genuinely excited to be building on that momentum, and I can already feel how special this next chapter will be, with an exciting partnership coming together for the museum’s Christmas programme later this year. I know, Christmas already!

A Golden Celebration at 30 Knightsbridge

It’s often the deeply personal moments that stay with us the most. Fifty years ago, Searcys had the honour of catering Ian & Jane’s wedding at 30 Knightsbridge. This January, Searcys Events were delighted to welcome them back to the very same venue to celebrate their Golden Anniversary, surrounded by family, friends and decades of cherished memories.

From Jane’s lemon drop martini recipe to a thoughtfully curated three-course menu with perfectly paired wines, every detail was designed to honour their story, past and present. Moments like these are a powerful reminder of why we do what we do: creating spaces where connection, celebration and lasting memories continue to flourish, generation after generation. I was extremely proud to be a part of this event.

MARCH

March arrived in a flash, bringing with it one of the most anticipated moments in our calendar – the Searcys Bubbly Show. Hosted over two days at 10–11 Carlton House Terrace, it was a wonderful celebration of all things sparkling and something I look forward to every year. From a beautifully curated Bolney lunch to an exceptional line-up of Champagne and English sparkling houses, the event brought together clients, partners and industry friends for two truly unforgettable days.

Behind the scenes, and very much at the heart of it all, our teams were exceptional. From seamless service on the floor to meticulous attention to detail in every touchpoint, their energy, precision and genuine passion ensured the experience felt effortless from start to finish. Friday brought glorious sunshine, while Saturday arrived with grey skies, but if anything, it only highlighted the team’s unwavering commitment. Whatever the weather, their dedication to delivering a truly outstanding event never faltered.

I’m already looking forward to 2027!

APRIL

Alongside these events, we also took a moment to celebrate our people at the Searcys People Awards.

While we didn’t bring home a trophy this year, being recognised across multiple categories, including Venue of the Year and Innovation Excellence, was an achievement in itself. With an individual nomination for Tremayne Wilson as Exceptional Customer Service it was a proud moment that reflected the creativity, care and dedication that defines our Events team, and I couldn’t be prouder.

Most importantly, it gave us the chance to come together, celebrate what we’ve built, and recognise the people who make it all possible.

WHAT'S NEXT?

Looking ahead, there’s a real sense of excitement as we move into the warmer months. Our portfolio of seasonal spaces is ready to come into its own, from terraces and courtyards to gardens and waterside settings, each offering something truly special for summer events.

To mark the season, we’re also introducing a new addition to our receptions: the Anon Summer Garden Spritz, a fresh and vibrant serve, with our compliments for events over £5k! I can attest, it tastes like summer.

We’re also gearing up for an exciting run of major moments. This year will see us collaborating across multiple chalets at the Farnborough Air Show, alongside a five-day event with the Royal Household Cricket Club, both exceptional opportunities we’re proud to be part of. Combined with our return to Guards and an ever-growing calendar of London events, it’s shaping up to be a busy, brilliant summer.
