Searcys Events Returns to Guards Polo Club for a Glorious Third Season

The Venue

We’re delighted to announce that Searcys Events is back for our third season at the prestigious Guards Polo Club, bringing with us a signature blend of elegance, culinary finesse, and timeless hospitality.

Guards Polo Club, located in the heart of Windsor Great Park, has a rich history intertwined with the British royal family. Founded in 1955 by Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, the club has been a cornerstone of the British polo scene. In May 2024, His Majesty The King graciously accepted the presidency of the club, continuing the royal connection.

The Cartier Queen’s Cup, first presented by Queen Elizabeth II in 1960, remains a testament to the club’s esteemed legacy and its commitment to excellence in polo.

This Season at Guards Polo Club

This season promises to be one of the most memorable yet, with the Cartier Queen’s Cup as a particular highlight. A true jewel in the British summer sporting calendar, the semi-finals held on Wednesday, June 11, drew a vibrant and discerning crowd.

This 22-goal tournament, named in honour of Queen Elizabeth II, attracts the world’s top players and their exceptional ponies. The finals on Sunday, June 15, offer an unparalleled blend of world-class sport and refined hospitality and we’re thrilled to be at the heart of the celebration, creating exquisite dining moments for all our guests, players, and spectators alike.

Renowned Chef Richard Corrigan: We’re delighted to welcome back renowned Chef Richard Corrigan for his second season with Searcys Events at Guards Polo Club. Known for his unapologetically bold approach to seasonal British fare, Richard brings both heart and heritage to our collaboration. His passion for honest, flavour-driven food inspires key moments across our menus, adding depth, character, and a unique culinary flair to every dining experience.

Locally Sourced, Thoughtfully Curated – in true Searcys Events style, this season’s menus have been intricately, delicately, and thoughtfully curated by our team of chefs and nutritionists. Every dish tells a story, of place, of people, and of purpose.

We remain committed to using only the freshest, sustainably sourced ingredients, and are proud to work with dedicated British producers who share our values. In particular, Daphne’s Welsh Lamb – ethically raised on a family-run farm in Wales, their lamb is rich in flavour and quality. We love working with people who are truly passionate about what they do – like Daphne herself, a 73-year-old grandmother who still works the land she loves. Her dedication to farming, the countryside, and PGI Welsh Lamb is inspiring – and it’s this heartfelt commitment that makes their produce so exceptional.

Additionally, in support of our service excellence, all our equipment is being supplied by Allens Hire – a trusted name in event equipment with over 30 years of expertise and a genuine commitment to sustainability. From elegant tableware to efficient kitchen solutions, their eco-conscious approach including energy-saving technology and waste reduction – aligns perfectly with our values.
