Most Romantic Wedding Venue in the North East Revealed21 November 2019
Northumberland wedding venue The Alnwick Garden and the world’s largest Treehouse have won the “Most Romantic Wedding Venue“ in the North East at The English Wedding Awards (2019).
The English Wedding Awards aim to recognise and reward those within the wedding industry who work to make your special day perfect.
Kellie Hughes, who also won North East and overall North of England Wedding Coordinator of The Year in her role at Searcys at The Treehouse and The Alnwick Garden said, “it’s magical at The Alnwick Garden and getting married in a treehouse .. well it really doesn’t get more unique or special than that! But there is so much more that goes on behind the scenes, with every wedding bespoke to each couple. It is all about the detail, so receiving this accolade means so much to all of us in the hospitality team.”
Couples can choose from two wedding venues at The Garden. The magnificent glass Pavilion overlooking The Grand Cascade water feature or The Treehouse, which is set high up in the trees, lit almost entirely by fairy lights. Both venues have full disabled access.
The brainchild of the Duchess of Northumberland, The Alnwick Garden is a multi, award-winning visitor attraction in Alnwick, Northumberland.
We have a long-standing association with Alnwick. The official caterer for The Alnwick Garden and The Treehouse since 2018, Searcys was established in 1847 by John Searcy, the former confectioner to the third Duke of Northumberland.
