Job Description

Following the opening of the pop-up café in October, Searcys have been appointed to run the gallery restaurant and operate events at the Saatchi Gallery.

We are holding recruitment open days during January, as we get ready to launch the Saatchi Gallery Brasserie, which will be a modern British Brasserie which has 100 covers and a PDR room which can hold up to 60 guests. Opening hours are Monday to Sunday, which will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Saatchi gallery is located just off King’s Road, London.

We are looking to recruit a Junior Sous Chef and Sous Chef to join Searcys, which will provide great development for your career to open our new restaurant and establish our events catering. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will support day to day operations across the restaurant and event operations and nurture the junior members of the team to encourage development. Ideally, you will have previous experience as a Junior Sous/Sous Chef from an event caterer within London, or from an established restaurant operator.

You will understand the important of being organised and have experience of taking the lead on organising, planning and preparing for the restaurant/events in collaboration with the Head Chef.

Junior Sous Chef and Sous Chef benefits with Searcys:
