Job Description

Searcys operate the catering contract at the Design Museum, which is a unique 1960’s grade II* listed building on Kensington High Street. The catering contract consists of a retail and events kitchen operation.

We are looking to recruit a Sous Chef, reporting directly to the Executive Chef, Mark French on a full time permeant basis.

Our catering offer consists of a coffee bar will provide a “grab & go offer” and our restaurant on the second floor provides casual dining at its best, with a seasonal menu serving British classics alongside a selection of salads, homemade sandwiches and a bakery table. In addition to this, we are the nominated supplier to cater for events that take place.

As a Sous Chef, you will have had experience of working alongside a team from a similar environment within a restaurant/event based kitchen. You will understand the importance of being organised, and have experience of taking the lead on organising, planning and preparing for the retail/restaurant, in addition to supporting the Executive Chef with events.
