Searcys are delighted to work in partnership with the Royal College of General Practitioners and manage all aspects of the venue operation at 30 Euston Square, which includes both retail, events and hotel rooms.

Located on the ground floor of this prestigious venue is Café Caritas. The café is open to the public in addition to guests of the venue who may be attending a conference, business meeting or event within the building.

Recent reviews on TripAdvisor have rated Café Caritas as 4.5/5 based on our menu selection, comfortable surroundings and friendly staff. Our skilled Searcys chefs only use the freshest, seasonal ingredients that go into our wide selection of food, and our drinks are ethically sourced and always freshly brewed.

We are currently recruiting for a Retail Café Manager to join us on a full time permanent basis across Monday to Friday, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. As a Retail Café Manager,you will join one of London’s most prestigious venues, which will inevitably provide the opportunity for you to grow and develop your career within the events/contract catering hospitality industry.

As a Retail Café Manager, you will be responsible for;

·Ensuring you and your team deliver exceptional service to all clients
·Proactively review the performance of the café and identify opportunities to develop
·Recruit, train and manage the team of four Baristas and ensure that staff rotas are scheduled, to guarantee the retail café is ready and open for business on time every operating day
·Liaise with the wider team (kitchen, events, reception etc) to ensure the provision of food and service is consistent and in line with the menu and standards for the venue
·Responsible for placing orders directly with suppliers within the departmental budget
·Ensure in house accounting policies are adhered to and monitor food and beverage control, in addition to responsibility for completing the stock take for the department
· Responsible for ensuring that both company and legislative health and food safety policies and practices are adhered to at all times
·Complete catering administration, which will include banking and financial reporting to your line managers.

This role would suit an experienced branded retail manager, who can bring a wealth of experience to the role, to ensure that as a team we not only deliver exceptional food and service to our clients but also implement best practice.
