On levels 38, 39 and 40 of the Gherkin, elevated cuisine takes on a whole new meaning at our suave and sophisticated HELIX restaurant – a name inspired by the building’s helix-shaped structure. In addition to this we have the Iris Bar, and Private Dining Rooms.

As a Pastry Chef, you will support the Executive Chef, Daniel Loftin and our Head Pastry Chef to create masterpieces for both our restaurant and event catering operation, where we cater for private dining dinners, meetings, conferences and weddings to name a few. You will also be involved in supporting the Head Pastry Chef with maintaining records, ordering and ensuring food safety standards are met.

We are looking for an experienced Pastry Chef who is trained and skilled in making small bowl desserts, dessert canapés, bread and other baked goods. Fine dining experience is essential for this role.

We only use fresh, local, sustainable and seasonal produce in our kitchen. If you have a creative flair, and enjoy perfecting not only the prep, baking but also the decorative touches to your work; then we want to hear from you.
