30 Euston Square, the prestigious headquarters to the Royal College of General Practitioners, is a Grade II* listed award winning events venue based in Central London adjacent to Euston Station.

With over 30 meeting and events spaces and 41 bedrooms on site, the team delivered over 1400 successful events yr-on-year.Searcys at 30 Euston Square are the onsite caterer for all occasions, which include meetings, training, conferences, private dining and social events.

Due to an internal promotion, we are currently recruiting for an Office Manager/People Advisor to join the team on a full time, permanent basis.

The role reports directly to the Deputy General Manager and General Manager at 30 Euston Square. The purpose of this role is to support the venues business, by providing proactive and effective HR support to the venue, in addition to wider office management/administration support.

Office Manager/People Advisor key responsibilities:

·Lead on the recruitment of hourly paid staff for the venue – managing responses, shortlisting, arranging interviews and ensuring feedback is provided to candidates
·Support the recruitment of senior hires by liaising with management to coordinate the recruitment of senior roles
·Manage the offer process of new starters within the venue and conduct site inductions to all new starters
·In conjunction with the department managers, manage the probation process
·Coordinate training for venue staff to ensure compliance in relation to the venues training matrix
·Train managers on people related systems such as People Matters, Application Tracking System, Learning Management System.
·Support the department managers with employee/performance related issues – escalating to Head of People where necessary
·Manage the employee recognition scheme in venue and nominations for annual awards
·Conduct exit interviews for staff leaving the venue and produce quarterly reports
·Produce quarterly reports and newsletters for the venue i.e HR stats dashboard, venue updates
·To act as a note taker/adviser on 1-2-1 meetings that managers may have with their staff
·Ensure Health & Safety files are maintained; food, health & safety, employers insurance, incidents and accident report etc
·Process client invoices and ensure these are recorded and reported
·Support the management team regarding diary management, meetings, travel arrangements etc
·Support the team in collating presentations, and any other reasonable administration requests from the heads of department.

The ideal candidate for the Office Manager/People Advisor role should confidently be able to demonstrate;

·First line HR advisory support
·Previous experience in a HR role is desirable
·Previous hospitality experience is desirable
·Excellent attention to detail
·Effective organisation, written and verbal skills
·Computer literate on Microsoft; outlook, powerpoint, word, excel etc
