The Gherkin is one of Searcys flagship venues, and has recently had a major renovation of the brand concept, and its operation with the restaurant and bar now being open to the public. The Gherkin will be one of Searcys pivotal operations that highlights our brand ethos of British Seasonal food, championing simplicity and quality at the heart of its food offering.

The venue has multiple hospitality offerings, which consists of our indulgent champagne and cocktail bar, British seasonal restaurant, state of the art private dining rooms, in addition to the breath taking space available for social and corporate events.

The Executive Chef role will lead a team of circa 25 Chefs that operate across the kitchen, that serves the bar, restaurant and events space. This role will report directly to the General Manager Karim LeCloarec, with guidance from the Support team.

The ideal candidate will possess an exceptional drive for quality across both events, bar and restaurant. In addition to this you will have proven experience within a similar role, and be able to demonstrate a track record of catering for large numbers, whilst never compromising on taste and presentation. It is equally important that you are passionate about keeping up to date with current food trends and developing your offer as and when needed.
