30 Euston Square, home to the Royal College of General Practitioners, is a Grade II* listed award winning events venue, in a perfect central London location. This unique venue offers a superb choice of versatile event spaces, which can cater for a wide range of corporate and social events.

From meeting, training and conference spaces, to private dining, weddings and special occasions. Searcys at 30 Euston Square can accommodate and cater for all as the venue hosts:

  • 300 seat Auditorium & Exhibition Space
  • State Rooms & Rooftop Terrace for up to 230
  • 6 Heritage Rooms for up to 50

Required Skills

The events team are currently recruiting for an Events Executive to join the team, where the successful candidate will plan and manage all external events across corporate, private/social, members and agency lead events.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist with function sheets requirements and obtain quotations where necessary for consideration
  • Oversee the banqueting diary through ensuring all information is accurate and up to date
  • Effectively plan the successful operation of the events area with the assistance of the relevant department heads
  • Regularly brief and update the events and operations teams with any information that is relevant to the business of the day/week
  • Actively upsell the events facilities to enhance the event experience and increase revenue
  • Operational support on the day of events where needed and directed by the Event Manager
  • Responsible for accurately issuing invoices in a timely manner and sent to clients
  • Comply with all legal requirements with particular reference to (but not exclusively) fire regulations, security, licence requirements and any Local Authority or Client stipulations


The ideal candidate will have experience within:
• Previous event/hospitality experience is essential

• Proactive and enthusiastic, seeking opportunities to enhance the client experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Rational problem solver

• Able to work under pressure

• Competent in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel

• Team player attitude
