Job Description

30 Euston Square, home to the Royal College of General Practitioners, is a Grade II* listed award winning events venue, in a perfect central London location. This unique venue offers a superb choice of versatile event spaces, which can cater for a wide range of corporate and social events.

Due to increased growth at the venue, we are looking to recruit an additional Sales Executive to join the team at 30 Euston Square, on a full time permanent basis. The purpose of this role is to sell the commercial venue space and accommodation to agreed budgets. This role is extremely customer focused and will work closely with the events team to ensure smooth and effective service to our clients

As Sales Executive, you will manage and convert venue enquiries and sales opportunities to generate and contribute to the venues monthly, quarterly and annual budget. This will be achieved through:

  • Receive incoming enquires and convert them into confirmed business
  • Provide account management support for assigned client accounts
  • Proactively support the Sales Manager and Business Development Manager with generating new leads for the venue
  • Complete prospective client meetings and show around to the venues facilities
  • Prepare proposals for new enquiries, ensuring venue standards are adhered to and contain best fit/feature expectations for the client
  • Ensure all sales procedures and administration correspondence are kept up to date and completed in a timely fashion as per agreed KPI’s (Proposals, Contracts, Follow-Ups, Payments etc)
  • Complete daily and weekly sales reports for the Sales & Marketing Manager

 The ideal candidate will have previous experience of:

  • Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
  • Confident sales skills; ability to negotiate; strong problem-solving skills, and ability to seek solutions
  • Strong organisation and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent administration, processes and has a high level of attention to detail
  • Experience of working within a large event/sales team, and wider operations team
  • Previous experience of working in a hotel/events venue sales environment would be would be advantageous but not essential
