Barista & Bartender
St Pancras Brasserie by Searcys
6:30am-3pm Monday to Friday. Occasional weekend
St Pancras by Searcys is a busy Brasserie within St Pancras Station offering diners great food and of course great coffee! Our diners may visit us for a morning meeting, a leisurely breakfast or a quick breakfast / brunch before catching their train. What they have in common is their love of coffee and their love of our ability to deliver this quickly to them!
We therefore need an experienced Barista to continue this great service – whether it’s requested by the customer directly or by one of the waiters, you’ll need to deliver the coffees at pace and to our great standards. Therefore we are looking for a barista with solid experience and knowledge of all things coffee.
From midday, you’ll be less busy with coffee and will then turn your attention to the bar and therefore some bar experience would be advantageous.
To aid the development of our business in Bath, we are currently seeking a Sales and Marketing Manager to join Searcys Sales and Marketing team. This role will be based at our offices at the Pump Rooms in Bath.
The successful individual will bring both proactive sales, technical marketing skills and creativity to the team.

Scope of role:
1. To achieve sales budget for the restaurants and café and events to achieve monthly revenue targets across all aspects of the business for Searcys at Bath, including:
• The Pump Room
• Roman Bath Kitchen
• The Fashion Museum Cafe
• Group bookings, semi exclusive / private hires
• Ticketed and seasonal events and party night
• Seasonal pop up activation.
2. To develop and implement brand proposition for Searcys portfolio at Bath.
3. To ensure sales and marketing activities deliver on Searcys brand vision to make the people we serve and work with, feel special by being consistently exceptional.

Searcys at the Gherkin is famed for its iconic status, offering diners panoramic views of London.
The venue is busy not only within the restaurant but also within events. This is an area we will see grow as we grow our Private Dining offering and open more event space on level 38. Events will vary in size from a party of 10, to daytime conferences or a wedding for up to 260 guests and we need an experienced Senior Events Manager to join the team and ensure these are delivered for our event clients.
This role will have a primary focus on weekend events and weddings and therefore you will need to be flexible to work according to the event schedule.
We are looking for someone who can not only demonstrate strong event coordination experience within a venue but has also improved internal procedures to increase efficiency. Some line management experience would be advantageous as you will be managing a small team. You’ll be a great communicator and a team player as you work with not only the client but also the Executive Chef and internal teams to make the events a success.
Senior Sous Chef – Events at the Gherkin
45 hours per week.
Searcys run some of the best kitchens in the most iconic buildings with in the UK and the Gherkin is no exception!
Cooking on the 37th floor, you’ll be influencing menus and leading the team to deliver the catering for our exclusive events – from a private dining sit down meals to a wedding for 260 people where our customers will enjoy panoramic views as they enjoy our food.

Breakfast Chef – St Pancras by Searcys
5 shifts per week, 6am-2pm
St Pancras is one of Searcys flagship venues offering diners great British seasonal food with great service. Diners enjoy our breakfasts whether it’s a breakfast meeting or to enjoy our food before catching their train.
The team are looking for a new Breakfast Chef to join them.
You’ll need to be able to work 5 shifts per week, 6am – 2pm and will focus on ensuring breakfasts are made to order to the standards we are proud to offer. Covers at breakfast are typically around 80-90 and there may also be bookings in the private dining room.

The Bath Pump Room restaurant serves breakfast, lunch afternoon tea and dinner. It is also available for private hired events and functions.
You will assist the Head chef, with menu planning, quality control, maintaining food safety and health and safety standards, and step into the breach running service in one of Bath’s busiest restaurants
