We are looking for a Sous Chef to join the Chef brigade at the Barbican to support the team with the delivery of our meeting and events business. This is a full time – permanent role, reporting to the Head Chef.
As a Sous Chef, you will have had experience of working alongside a large team from a similar environment of either banqueting/events/hotels. You will understand the importance of being organised, and have experience of taking the lead on organising, planning and preparing for all events – whether this be DDR, buffets, canapé receptions, corporate dinners, weddings.
This role would be perfect for a confident chef who understands the importance of never compromising on standards and is passionate about only using fresh ingredients. You’ll also be passionate about creating new dishes to ensure our choices are
