Searcys is seeking an experienced digital marketing executive to assist in the execution and development of the digital marketing strategy. The successful candidate will have a strong digital background within a similar role, responsible for tailoring and executing the digital plans and measuring the results for insights.

AIM OF ROLE:
To develop Searcys and venue brands’ online proposition and awareness To manage and execute all web, SEM, CRM, email marketing, social media marketing strategies Identify new and innovative technologies and platforms to optimally engage with our target audiences To ensure digital CTAs drive profitable sales growth at all times

1. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Custodian of Searcys digital branding and tone of voice, ensuring all digital assets are within brand guidelines
  • Manage and update content for all websites, including 3rd party websites, whilst improving functionality and customer journey
  • Improve conversion rates on website pages and landing pages and use insights to improve future results
  • Manage the development of SEO strategies
  • Manage and optimise Google Adwords campaigns
  • Track website performance and conversion rates
  • Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels utilising tools and techniques as appropriate including e-mail marketing, paid search, SEO, PPC and social media
  • Manage social media channels including social media content and engagement to increase performance of KPIs
  • Manage, develop and edit all digital content (profiles, images, video and written)
  • Design, create and manage promotions and social ad campaigns
  • Manage social media posting schedule, utilising Hootsuite
  • Develop and grow community and influencer outreach: bloggers & Instragrammers
  • Support venue social media managers with their channels
  • Manage Searcys and venues email campaigns and newsletters
  • A/B test email campaigns to establish the most effective and profitable communication techniques quality assuring all emails before they are sent
  • Weekly and monthly reporting on web performance based on Google Analytics, social analytics, email analytics and providing key insights
  • Support idea generation of future digital activities

 

General Responsibilities

  • Respond efficiently to sudden priority changes and venue business priorities
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Marketing Manager
  • Input digital initiatives into the annual Strategic Marketing Planning process
  • Ensure accuracy of marketing materials and to be responsible for formal online sign off process where required
  • Responsible for personal development within the area of digital marketing and current training opportunities that may support job performance
  • To undertake other duties as may be reasonably expected utilising skills, knowledge, qualifications required for the job

2. Job Qualifications

  • A degree or equivalent level qualification in marketing or related subject
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Digital Marketing
  • Proven webmaster with knowledge of SEO, HTML, and WordPress
  • Experience of Creative Cloud including Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro and Dreamweaver
  • Experience with Campaign Monitor or similar
  • Proven experience and success in managing multiple social media channels, including the use of social media management tools
  • Understanding of brand management
  • Experience of CRM systems desirable (preferably Salesforce)
  • Understanding of and interest in photography to ensure optimum image use
  • Videography and editing experience is beneficial, but not necessary
  • Can conduct digital training, coaching and team development
  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate with senior management
  • Advanced Excel knowledge preferable, but not essential
