Sales Executive, Searcys at Vintners’ Hall


Vintners’ Hall is one of the Great 12 Livery Companies in the City of London, based on the north side of Southwark Bridge on Upper Thames Street. The Vintners’ Company are steeped in history and tradition going back to the Doomsday Book and pride themselves of being one of the premium Livery Companies in the City of London.
Main Purpose:
To be responsible for the sales and coordination of events working towards an events budget.
Key Responsibilities:
 To develop and maintain relationships with existing clients
 To gain a full understanding of the Worshipful Companies events and requirements
 To proactively identify new opportunities
 To manage and maintain a clean database
 To take incoming enquiries in accordance with Searcy standards and procedures
 To provide weekly sales update along with update financial reporting
 To update website and social media when required
 To manage the event diary in line with Searcys operating procedures
 To prepare proposals for new enquiries and any additional administration including pre event payment collection
 To fully coordinate the event up to the day of arrival
 To produce clear and concise function sheets in accordance with company standards and procedures
 To provide a clear and concise handover to the operations team
 To communicate clearly with the kitchen team with regard to menus
 To organise and host menu tastings and up-sell where possible
 To conduct show rounds and proactively convert
 To organise and host promotional events
 To represent Searcys in a professional manner at all times in your behaviour, appearance and knowledge.
 To perform any other reasonable duties as requested by your manager
