£35,000-full time- Sales and Marketing Manager- 10% bonus

We are now recruiting for an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to join the team. You will be based at the Inner Temple, located along the embankment. Central location!

1. Requirements and Responsibilities

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Enquiries
• Ensuring Enquiry Logs are completed in full to obtain all contact details and requirements in order to match facilities to the client’s needs
• Acknowledging enquiry within 4 hours by phone or email & sending a hard copy (email) quotation within 24 hours
• Following up enquiry information sent within 2 working days & provisional enquiries within a week
• Arranging site visits for every new enquiry and conducting show rounds.
• Discuss catering & equipment requirements with the aim of up-selling on clients’ selection
• Make clients aware of all possible room set-ups, menu options and other extra information as well as outline Terms & Conditions
2. Management responsibilities
• Responsible for 2 direct reports, Sales and Events Manager and Office and Events Administrator
• Ensure all team members are operating within the company policy and procedures.
3. To manage sales & marketing activities
• Produce and action an on-site annual sales & marketing plan to incorporate all of the Inn’s outlets (Private Functions, Pegasus Bar, Temple Church, Hall and Garden)
• Provide monthly activity report & sales figures for Searcys
• Generation of monthly budget forecasts for the year ahead
• Represent Inner Temple at Searcy Sales & Marketing meetings & hospitality events hosted at all Searcy units
• To become familiar with the Inn’s booking system, maintaining client data and inputting event information to produce accurate function sheets
• Manage marketing budget
• Manage all catering and private hire social media accounts
4. Website
• Updating the Inn’s catering CMS website content regularly with new menus, pictures, general information
• Creating links to other websites to increase the website’s ranking on search engines
• Keeping brochure & branding in line with website

Extra:
• To be available for staff briefings and company events
• To be available for occasional weekend work subject to overtime at the rate agreed or days off in lieu
• To undertake reasonable requests for adhoc duties as requested by the Deputy or General Manager

Requirements:
• Min.4 years’ experience in a commercial sales environment
• Min.1 years’ experience in a dual sales/marketing role
• CMS experience
• Event booking system experience
• CIM qualified level 5 or below (desirable not essential)
• Sales training /negotiation skills training
• English Language – Native or bilingual proficiency
• Team Player
• Personable
• Great communication and sales skills
• Willing to go above and beyond
