Our talented team of Pastry Chefs over at the Gherkin are a team of four. We are currently recruiting for a Pastry Chef to join us which reports into the Head Pastry Chef.
Our Pastry team create beautiful master pieces for both our restaurant and events. We are looking for an experienced chef who is trained and skilled in making small bowl desserts, dessert canapés, bread and other baked goods.
We only use fresh, local, sustainable and seasonal produce in our kitchen. If you have a creative flair, and enjoy perfecting not only the prep, baking but also the decorative touches to your work; then we want to hear from you.
You will also be involved in supporting the Head Pastry chef in maintaining records, ordering and ensuring food safety standards are met.
This is a full time, permanent role and the shift patterns will be either: 8am – 4pm or 12pm – 8pm as a straight and 8am – 11pm with a break during lunch for double shifts.
