Searcys at 30 Euston Square, home of the Royal College of General Practitioners are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager/Sales Manager to join their team! Previous experience in a similar role, within an event based venue is essential.

Requirements

·To identify opportunities to achieve the annual events budget

·2-3 years’ experience sales experience within an iconic venue

·Proven track record of driving sales

·Strong current understanding of the events industry

·Current contacts within corporates and agents

·Target driven

· Self-motivated

·A strong business acumen

·Excellent communication skills

What you will be responsible for:

·To proactively identify, develop and convert revenue from new business leads

· To achieve monthly sales revenue targets

·To proactively develop and maintain relationships with key accounts

·To work towards the annual sales and marketing plan and monthly sales activity plan

·To identify and attend networking events and exhibitions

·To stay fully updated on market trends and conditions

·To gain a good knowledge of other Searcys venues and maintain good working relationships with colleagues

·To drive the referral system and refer business as appropriate to Central Sales

·To plan, organise and attend promotional events
