1. Requirements and Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience
  • Previous kitchen experience within hospitality
  • Relevant NVQ or equivalent qualifications, including basic Food Hygiene
  • Organised
  • Good communicator
  • Able to work under pressure

Responsibilities

  • To assist in all areas of the kitchen for food service
  • To ensure that each item in your station menu is prepared on time and at a high standard
  • To oversee the preparation, cooking and presentation of each plate
  • To ensure that all health and safety regulations and procedures are followed and maintained
  • To ensure that your station is kept clean and tidy at all times
